Outdoor Track: Message From Kenny Edwards, Athletic Director Below:

To become a member of the MVHS Outdoor Track team you are required to maintain academic eligibility before and throughout the season.

Eligibility for outdoor ttrack will be checked on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026

See eligibility requiremnts below. 

 MVSD Academic Eligibility policy states that:

• If enrolled in 4 classes - must pass 4 classes

• If enrolled in 5 classes - must pass 5 classes

• If enrolled in 6 classes - must pass 5 classes

• If enrolled in 7 classes - must pass 5 classes

All athletes waiting for rides home  fter practices or outdoor track meets need to wait at the gate between the track facility and the middle school's side entrance. 

Student-athletes need to be excused by the school nurse for illnesses to be able to return to school for team activites. 

-Parents / Athletes: 

• transportation regarding away track meets need to be emailed to Coaches: (Dyrace Maxfield, Brian Reynolds, and Bob Mullen) the 4 MV Track Coaches, 24 hours in advance of an away track meet. Thank you!

• absences from team activites, will be excused provided that parents send an email to all Coaches (Dyrace Maxfield, Brian Reynolds, and Bob Mullen) the 4 MV Track Coaches, on or before the day of absences. Thank you!
